Primary Duties & Responsibilities include:
1) Ensures effective day to day operation of Substance Use Disorder Program;
a) Works in coordination with other Program Directors and Leadership and community partners to ensure access to Substance Use Disorder services are available, efficient and effective.
b) Works internally with OBHC leadership to maximize continuity of care between programs.
c) Monitors and facilitates clinical efficiency of SUD clinicians.
d) Monitors and ensures high quality of clinical documentation of SUD staff.
e) Ensures adherence to agency, state and local policy and procedures relevant to SUD are followed, including participation in the developing and implementation of program policies.
f) Oversees and coordinates intra-program collaboration to ensure continuity of care.
2) Maintains oversight of the Substance Use Disorder Program.
a) Monitors the overall quality of clinical practices as they are reflected in clinical documentation.
b) Interprets and complies with agency, state and federal policies and regulations.
c) Manage all aspects of the program including participation in the developing and implementation of program policies.
d) Continuously stays updated on 'best practices' in SUD and related fields.
e) Creates and implements employee professional development plans.
f) Ensures program reporting is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
g) Monitors and facilitates clinical efficiency.
3) Establishes and maintains professional relationships with community stakeholders.
a) Meets routinely and as needed with community partners i.e. therapeutic courts and other SUD Related Providers.
b) Maintains a working relationship with state and MCO partners.
4) Provides management to departmental staff.
a) Contributes to development of the budget; maintains and monitors the departmental budget.
b) Determines the most effective method for assigning responsibilities and duties to department employees.
c) Maintains job descriptions, procedures and other documentation related to the organization of the department.
d) Assigns duties and responsibilities, and ensures employees receive instruction/training needed to complete their job responsibilities.
e) Ensures that employees are aware of and adhere to all company policies and procedures, and conveys all senior management communications and directives.
f) Reviews departmental work for thoroughness and accuracy, and provides specific instructions to supervisors and employees on completion of tasks/responsibilities.
g) Prepares and conducts performance evaluations for departmental staff:
h) Conducts hiring, disciplinary, and termination procedures
Professional &Technical Knowledge Required:
Specific professional knowledge and formal training typically acquired through a degree in Substance Use Disorders.
Possesses an understanding of the profession at a level that allows the employee to select methods for others to use (from those already in existence in the profession).
Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience.
Must have a current SUDP licensure in good standing.

Target hiring salary range: $38.13 - $38.94 per hour DOE. This is a full-time, non-exempt hourly position.
