Full-Time Inventory Control Associate
Purpose
The Inventory Control Associate plays an important role in supporting daily dispensary operations by helping maintain accurate inventory, organizing product, preparing online orders, and supporting the sales floor as needed. This position requires attention to detail, urgency, professionalism, and the ability to follow state compliance requirements and company procedures.
This role is best suited for someone who is organized, reliable, comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment, and able to balance both inventory accuracy and customer order fulfillment.
Core Responsibilities
Inventory Control and Organization
- Maintain accurate inventory by counting, organizing, and verifying product.
- Assist with daily inventory audits and product reconciliation.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate low-stock items or discrepancies to management.
- Keep backstock, inventory areas, and product storage areas clean, organized, and easy to navigate.
- Ensure products are stored in the correct locations and separated properly when needed.
- Assist with receiving, labeling, organizing, and stocking product.
- Report inventory discrepancies, missing product, damaged product, or compliance concerns to management.
Online Order Fulfillment
- Accurately fulfill online orders in a timely manner.
- Pick, verify, and prepare customer orders based on the order ticket.
- Confirm product names, package information, quantities, and order accuracy before completion.
- Communicate out-of-stock items or order issues to the appropriate team member or manager.
- Maintain urgency when fulfilling orders during high-volume periods.
- Help ensure online orders are prepared correctly and ready for customer pickup.
Operational Efficiency and Quality Control
- Support the sales floor by restocking product and supplies as needed.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
- Follow all company procedures related to inventory handling, order fulfillment, and product movement.
- Use attention to detail to prevent errors that could impact compliance, customer experience, or inventory accuracy.
- Work closely with managers, team leads, inventory leadership, and sales staff to keep daily operations running smoothly.
Compliance and Professional Standards
- Follow all Arizona cannabis laws, state regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling product, inventory information, and company procedures.
- Complete assigned tasks with accuracy and accountability.
- Communicate clearly with leadership regarding any issues, mistakes, or concerns.
- Represent the company in a professional and reliable manner.
Qualifications
- Must be 21+ years of age.
- Must be able to pass all state requirements for working in a cannabis operation.
- Prior inventory, retail, warehouse, fulfillment, or cannabis experience preferred.
- Must be detail-oriented and organized.
- Must be reliable and able to work scheduled shifts consistently.
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to communicate professionally with team members and management.
- Must be available to work nights and weekends.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This position operates in a professional retail dispensary environment. The role may include work in inventory rooms, product storage areas, order fulfillment areas, and the sales floor. This position routinely uses standard equipment such as computers, phones, scanners, printers, and point-of-sale or inventory systems.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly expected to stand, walk, talk, listen, use hands, reach, bend, and lift product or supplies. This position may require lifting up to 40 pounds and climbing ladders or step stools to reach products on higher shelves.
Position Type and Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours may vary based on store needs, business levels, and operational requirements. Night and weekend availability is required, and holiday availability may also be necessary.
Travel
This position does not require regular travel.
