ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive part-time Office Assistant to oversee daily office operations and ensure a well-stocked, efficient, and comfortable work environment in Division-D’s Columbia, MO office. The Office Assistant will be responsible for office supply management, organization, light cleaning, event planning, troubleshooting basic technology, and supporting HR-related administrative tasks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys multitasking, problem-solving, and fostering a welcoming workplace environment.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as the primary liaison with the property management company, submitting and tracking maintenance work orders as needed.
- Oversee new team member onboarding, including desk and computer setup, as well as first-day orientation.
- Monitor and maintain office supply and snack inventory, ensuring timely ordering, restocking, and organization.
- Plan and coordinate office activities, celebrations, and team-building events to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Serve as the main point of contact for internal team inquiries related to office operations.
- Assist team members with basic technology troubleshooting, primarily for laptops, utilizing company IT resources as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in common areas, ensuring a tidy, functional, and professional workspace.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

LOCATION/STRUCTURE:
- Flexible 5-10 hours per week
- Full in-office

COMPENSATION:
- Hourly: $15/hour
