PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Responsible for picking up supplies from local suppliers and delivering Saris products to local retailers and distributors.

 

SPECIFIC DUTIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Follow the schedule of pick-ups and deliveries.


• Do initial quality inspection upon the loading of the truck (i.e. visual acceptability).


• Make sure truck is loaded in a manner that will not damage the products or the truck.


• Be cooperative and polite with suppliers and on the road.


• Perform general maintenance, cleaning and repairs on the truck.


• Complete the appropriate pre-trip inspections and maintain appropriate trip records.


• Provide feedback to the Production Supervisor on any issues suppliers convey.


• Perform other duties as required or requested.
