Job Title: Dump Truck Driver

Job Type: Full-time

Salary:  $19 - $23 per hour

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary: The Dump Truck Driver will be responsible for safely operating a dump truck to transport and deliver materials such as dirt, gravel, asphalt, and sand to various construction sites. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate dump trucks to transport materials to and from construction sites.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials transported and deliveries made.
  • Maintain cleanliness of trucks both inside and outside.
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies while on the job site.
  • Communicate effectively with the project manager, equipment operators, and other team members to coordinate material deliveries.
  • Assist with other construction tasks as needed when not driving.

Requirements:

  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (A or B CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience as a dump truck driver, preferably in the civil construction industry.
  • Knowledge of construction site safety practices and procedures.
  • Ability to operate and maintain dump trucks and other related equipment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina and ability to enter/exit and clean truck beds.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, as required by project schedules.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
