Position Summary

We are looking for an E-commerce Operations Manager to own the technical and operational heartbeat of our online storefront. If you love optimizing backend workflows, ensuring product and inventory data is flawless, and troubleshooting tech systems to create a seamless customer journey from "click to ship," this role is for you.

As our E-commerce Operations Manager, you won't just keep the lights on—you will streamline our digital infrastructure, bridge the gap between our website and shipping team, and ensure our online store runs like a well-oiled machine.

Key Responsibilities

Storefront & Catalog Management

  • Maintain Data Accuracy: Own the presentation of our digital catalog, ensuring all product listings, descriptions, pricing, media, and inventory levels are accurate and up to date.
  • Site Health & Maintenance: Regularly audit the website to identify and fix broken links, formatting bugs, or navigation friction before they impact the customer.
  • Merchandising Support: Coordinate and execute product launches, promotional rollouts, and seasonal site updates.

E-commerce Workflow & Inventory Operations

  • Order Flow Management: Monitor and optimize the technical pipeline ensuring online orders transfer flawlessly from the website backend to our warehouse shipping team.
  • Systems Integration: Work with inventory management software, CRMs, and internal ERP systems to maintain absolute data integrity across all platforms.
  • Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks in our digital workflows, build repeatable documented processes, and implement improvements to scale our online operations.

User Experience & Continuous Improvement

  • Optimize the Customer Journey: Use customer feedback and site performance metrics to continuously improve the online user experience (UX).
  • Search Visibility: Support ongoing SEO efforts to maximize product discoverability and organic search rankings.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with marketing and warehouse operations teams to align site capabilities with broader company goals.

Qualifications

Required:

  • E-commerce Experience: Proven experience managing the backend of an online store or e-commerce platform (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento).
  • Technical Comfort: Hands-on capability in uploading products, managing bulk data sheets, managing variants, and navigating content management systems (CMS).
  • Obsessive Attention to Detail: A high degree of accuracy in data entry and a passion for organized digital asset management.
  • Problem Solver: Strong technical troubleshooting skills; you don't panic when an integration breaks—you dig into the backend to find out why.

Preferred:

  • Experience working with ERP, CRM, or advanced inventory management systems.
  • Basic understanding of technical SEO principles and product ranking strategies.
  • Familiarity or comfort with the firearms or outdoor sporting goods industry is a plus.
