At Victory Family Church, we believe the Next Generation is the heart of the church, and we’re looking for a Norman Early Childhood Director who shares that passion. This is a key leadership role where you’ll lead our birth-through-5-year ministries with a "steady hand" and a joyful spirit. We need a leader who is an anchor for our teams—someone who stays calm when things get busy, focuses on the big picture, and leads with a genuine, positive attitude that inspires others. Between overseeing the day-to-day operations of our nursery and preschool and building into our amazing volunteers, you’ll be the one ensuring our environments are safe, excellent, and full of life. If you’re a high-capacity leader who loves solving problems with grace and wants to help families take their next step with Christ, we’d love to meet you!
What You’ll Do
-
Lead & Empower Teams: Recruit, train, and pour into a large team of volunteers. You’ll be their primary coach—sending weekly encouragement, leading team meetings, and ensuring everyone is equipped to create a life-giving experience for our kids.
-
Execute with Excellence: Oversee the "Sunday & Wednesday Experience" by managing schedules, preparing curriculum materials, and ensuring our nursery and preschool environments are clean, organized, safe, and ready for ministry.
-
Manage Operations: Handle the "behind-the-scenes" essentials, including managing the early childhood budget, ordering supplies, recruiting and scheduling staff for paid childcare events, and overseeing the onboarding process for new team members.
-
Collaborate on Big Moments: Partner with the broader Victory Kids team to help plan and execute major events like Kids Camp and Best Day Ever, bringing creativity and a positive spirit to every projecte

-
Relational Heart: Someone who genuinely loves connecting with parents and volunteers, providing pastoral care while maintaining clear and consistent communication.
-
Detailed Ownership: You have a high eye for detail and excellence. Whether it’s an Incident Report form or a sanitized toy, you believe that "small things matter" in creating a safe environment for families.
-
High-Capacity Drive: You’re a self-starter who thrives with minimal supervision, manages your time well, and can pivot quickly when unexpected needs arise.
-
Mission-Aligned: A team player who is teachable, flexible, and fully committed to the vision and values of Victory Family Church.
Logistics
-
Schedule: Full-time, including Sundays (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) and Wednesday services, with flexibility for special events and seasonal ministry needs.
