Job Description

Location: Roanoke, IL

Pay: Starting at $20.75 per hour 

Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Thursday | 5:00AM - 3:30PM 

Occasional overtime may be required depending on workload 

Education: High School Diploma or GED required

What You'll Do:

As a Mechanical Assembler, you'll play a vital role in building our innovative accessibility products. Using various tools and detailed work instructions, you'll ensure every part is assembled with care and precision.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine material requirements or assembly instructions
  • Assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using several small manual and power tools, including but not limited to: wire cutters, screwdrivers, stripping tools, signal generators, drills, and calipers
  • Adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications
  • Measure and adjust voltages to specified values to determine operational accuracy of instruments
  • Safely use any special tooling and lifting devices provided
  • Clean parts, using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths
  • Confer with supervisors or engineers to plan or review work activities or to resolve production problems
  • Use visual inspection techniques to verify quality of product
  • Assist in troubleshooting efficiency and effectiveness
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area free of foreign materials
  • Participate in training and cross-training efforts as needed
  • Other duties as assigned


What We're Looking For:

  • One year minimum assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read written procedures and understand wiring diagrams/schematics/work orders/blueprints
  • Basic knowledge of using common hand tools, such as hammers, screwdrivers, tape measures, wrenches, vice grips, levels, and pliers 
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
