Job Description:

Essential Duties/ Requirements:

  • Repair, and troubleshoot system, PCB’s and custom level electrical devices to the component level.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot electronic equipment down to the device level utilizing oscilloscopes,  electrical meters, and other monitoring equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of basic electronics and electronic repair.
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures of troubleshooting and problem solving techniques.
  • Experience working in the electronic security industry (a plus but not required). 
Qualifications:

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting: Occasional raising or lowering of materials. Range of weight approximately 15-40 lbs.
  • Able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Excellent eye-hand coordination and dexterity.
  • Repetitive motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers while grasping and/ or reaching.

Additional Information:

Work environment: Work is conducted in an indoor production environment;  the employee is not exposed to any outside environmental conditions.

Status: Full time / regular (40 hours per week) 

Schedule: Monday- Friday (8:30am- 5:00pm)

Rate of Pay: In compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the hourly rate for this position ranges from $19.50 to $21.00 per hour; which may be increased upon successful completion of the 90th day introductory period.

Annual performance-based increases are also available.
