Job Description

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is looking to hire a Reading Interventionist to join our staff and work in an amazing school!

 Qualifications:

  • Valid Vermont teaching license or eligibility for VT licensure

  • Training/experience in Science of Reading and evidence‑based literacy instruction

  • Strong knowledge of literacy development, assessment, and intervention practices

  • Effective collaboration and communication skills with teachers, families, and MTSS teams

 Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide targeted reading interventions for students needing additional literacy support

  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and MTSS teams

  • Use assessment data to identify needs, monitor progress, and adjust instruction

  • Implement evidence‑based literacy practices aligned with the Science of Reading
