Ready to be part of the Legal Tech revolution?
Vision :As a leading software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider, DiliTrust is a global company dedicated to offering an integrated suite of legal and governance products. Our vision is to digitize legal departments worldwide. With an annual growth rate of over 40% since 2020, our ambition is to become the world's leading Legal Tech company, aiming for a valuation exceeding $1 billion by 2026.
Our Impact :From generating General Meeting reports to leveraging AI-assisted contract lifecycle management, our teams in our 8 offices across France, the US, Mexico, MEA, Germany, Spain, Italy, and Canada are the driving force behind our global success. We proudly support 2,400 customers in 64 countries, with 80% of our clientele comprising listed companies in major markets such as Europe, North America, and the Middle East.
Our Recognition :DiliTrust has been at the forefront of Legal Tech innovation, being the first Legal Tech with AI features since 2022. The company is renowned for providing a positive and entrepreneurial work environment. We are honored to have received the "Happy at Work" and "Tech at Work" labels every year since 2019.
The role
Lini is DiliTrust's proprietary AI engine, powering Ask Lini, Risk Detector, Document Summarization, Minute Generation, and every AI capability across the suite. We are building a dedicated squad around it and are looking for the engineer who will lead it.
As Engineering Manager for the Lini AI Platform, you will report directly to the Head of Engineering and lead a squad yet to be hired, fully focused on Lini initiatives. You will own both the technical quality and the human dimension of the team, from architecture decisions to individual growth plans.
A key part of the role is coordination: you sit at the intersection of ML, product, and feature engineering, and you are accountable for making those conversations productive.
We are looking for a senior engineer who grew into leadership and kept writing code (~30% of your time), while driving delivery, standards, and culture.
We also care about how you think about AI: whether you approach it as a design question as much as an engineering one, and whether you bring genuine curiosity and opinions into product conversations.
Missions :
- Work in close collaboration with the ML team, Product Managers, and feature squads to define and ship Lini features
- Translate model capabilities into product requirements, negotiate scope across teams, and clear cross-team dependencies before they become blockers
- Lead code reviews, own the squad's engineering standards, and weigh in on architecture choices
- Own delivery end-to-end: from scoping and planning to deployment and iteration, across all Lini-powered features in the DiliTrust Suite
- Define and evolve the integration architecture of Lini across modules, including LLM connectors and context management
- Partner with the Head of Engineering on cross-squad initiatives, technical roadmap, and hiring
- Run regular 1:1s, provide structured feedback, and support each engineer's career development
- Set and maintain engineering best practices: testing, documentation, CI/CD, observability
Requirements
Experience & seniority :- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a significant portion spent building and operating B2B SaaS platforms in production
- 3+ years managing an engineering team or squad in a product-oriented environment
- Proven track record of owning technical decisions: architecture, scalability, code quality (not just managing the people making them)
- Background at the intersection of AI or ML and product engineering: you know what it takes to go from a model capability to a production user experience
- Proven ability to coordinate across multiple teams simultaneously (ML, product, engineering)
- Fluent in French and English
- Strong proficiency in Node.js / TypeScript and Vue.js 3
- Deep background in scalable web architectures and API design
- Solid experience with LLM integration patterns in production (RAG, streaming, tool use, context management)
- Comfortable with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices in production
- Strong sense of ownership
- Ability to build trust, create accountability, and grow engineers into senior roles
- Excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- You see AI as a design question as much as an integration challenge, and bring that thinking into product conversations
- You engage with the product, bring ideas to the table, and consider yourself a stakeholder in the solutions your squad ships
