Job Description

The Digital Enterprise End to End Integration Supervisor will be responsible to oversee tasking and coordinating efforts to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues with the end to end tool and process integration of business systems at General Dynamics Electric Boat. In industry terms, this critical function within digital transformation will work to improve the flow of data through our digital threads.  Successful candidate needs to be capable of addressing problems with an enterprise view but also have ability to address specific issues tactically to allow design, planning, and construction to proceed while long term corrective actions are pursued. The employee will need to interface with the Information Technology (IT) organization and the impacted business areas to drive these problems to resolution.

 

The employee will also need to be able to clearly communicate issues and resolution plans to management, and supervise a small group of engineers and designers to successfully address problems while growing knowledge in the organization.

Required:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  • Minimum 5 years experience in IT, PLM system, process improvement, and/or participation in design and engineering processes 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance through the Department of Defense 
  • Experience with CAD and/or product lifecycle management software
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willingness to learn how multiple processes and tools fit together to accomplish design, build, delivery, and sustainment of submarines
  • Ability to lead teams through complex decisions on future tools/processes
