We are seeking an experienced Environmental Forklift Operator join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently while supporting the Environmental Manager.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment safely and effectively to complete assigned tasks.
- Perform duties related to Environmental Forklift operations.
- Knowledge and experience on all heavy equipment:
- Bulldozer
- Backhoe
- Front End Loader
- Mobile Crane
- Forklift
- Dump Truck
- Skid Steer
- Conduct daily inspections of equipment before and after use.
- Work closely with maintenance personnel to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines.
Qualifications
- Experience operating heavy equipment.
- Previous experience as a heavy equipment operator.
- Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance and minor repairs.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety practices.
- Trade school certification or secondary technical training, is preferred
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, weekends as needed.
- 8-hour shifts.
- Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
