Executive Assistant

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking an Executive Assistant. In this position, you’ll be responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the General Manager with the day-to-day operational activities, preparing statistical reports, correspondence, handling information requests, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, travel, and meetings, and assisting in providing overall guest satisfaction with the Resort.

This is an hourly role. Starting at $22.00/hr based on prior experience. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide high-level administrative support to the General Manager and executive team, including calendar management, correspondence, document preparation, travel coordination, and meeting support.
  • Serve as a central communication hub by managing guest inquiries, customer service concerns, donation requests, resort communications, and maintaining strong relationships with guests, associates, and community partners.
  • Oversee office operations and administrative processes, including mail distribution, shipping logistics, invoice reconciliation, record management, supply inventory, and financial documentation.
  • Support resort-wide operations by ensuring exceptional guest service, maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations, facilitating cross-department communication, and assisting with special projects and events as directed by leadership.

 

What We’re Looking For 

  • We do require that you have a background, consisting of a minimum of two years of administrative, clerical, or executive assistant experience in a corporate, hotel, resort, or business setting.
  • Ability to understand and effectively utilize above-average computer equipment and applications, to include but not limited to: Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Having a broad understanding of the tourism industry and the day-to-day operations of a hotel/resort is helpful.
