Executive Director – Assisted Living
The Executive Director (ED) is responsible for the overall success and performance of the assisted living community, including:
Leading daily operations of the assisted living community
Driving sales, marketing performance, and occupancy growth
Managing budgets, revenue, expenses, and financial outcomes
Ensuring compliance with state and federal assisted living regulations
Recruiting, developing, and retaining a high-performing leadership team
Promoting resident satisfaction, quality of care, and family engagement
Creating a positive workplace culture aligned with Charter’s mission
Maintaining community reputation and local market presence
Achieving and sustaining targeted occupancy and profitability goals
Executive Director Requirements
Prior experience as an Executive Director, Assisted Living Administrator, or Senior Living Administrator
Strong background in assisted living operations and sales leadership
Proven success in occupancy growth, revenue management, and expense control
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Passion for serving seniors and leading purpose-driven teams
Experience opening or stabilizing a senior living community preferred
Ability to lead with accountability, empathy, and results
