Executive Director – Assisted Living

The Executive Director (ED) is responsible for the overall success and performance of the assisted living community, including:

  • Leading daily operations of the assisted living community

  • Driving sales, marketing performance, and occupancy growth

  • Managing budgets, revenue, expenses, and financial outcomes

  • Ensuring compliance with state and federal assisted living regulations

  • Recruiting, developing, and retaining a high-performing leadership team

  • Promoting resident satisfaction, quality of care, and family engagement

  • Creating a positive workplace culture aligned with Charter’s mission

  • Maintaining community reputation and local market presence

  • Achieving and sustaining targeted occupancy and profitability goals

Executive Director Requirements

  • Prior experience as an Executive Director, Assisted Living Administrator, or Senior Living Administrator

  • Strong background in assisted living operations and sales leadership

  • Proven success in occupancy growth, revenue management, and expense control

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

  • Passion for serving seniors and leading purpose-driven teams

  • Experience opening or stabilizing a senior living community preferred

  • Ability to lead with accountability, empathy, and results
