Job Description

Geoprobe® is seeking an experienced welder/fabricator to join a growing team. Successful candidates are committed to high quality work, like variety in tasks, and have a passion for welding and fabrication.  

Responsibilities  

  • Safely fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment using MIG welder (TIG welding experience is a bonus), band saw, shear, metal punch, and measuring tools
  • Set-up, operate, and maintain welding equipment
  • Determine the structurally appropriate size & length of weld necessary when documentation does not specify
  • Read and accurately interpret blueprints to determine operations, required materials and timeframes for projects
  • Provide finished quality required (both with and without fixturing) in a reasonable time
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

  • High school degree
  • Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn more
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.  

Bonus  

  • AWS (or equivalent) certification 
  • CNC equipment i.e. Plasma or Laser
  • Experience programming/operating Robotic welding equipment
