GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for care and maintenance of community center and all recreational facilities assigned to the division.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform scheduling functions for all Facilities Support Techs.
• Conduct monthly staff meetings with all Facilities Support Techs. .
• Clean the center daily.
• Coordinate the set-up and tear down of all functions at the center and library including cleaning facilities to prepare for the next event.
• Performing minor repairs to equipment and facilities.
• Assist guests with Trackman equipment.
• Setup the sound system for events.
• Maintain an inventory of all housekeeping supplies, maintenance equipment, and tables and chairs for the center and library.
• Develop and maintain inventory of assets for the center and library.
• Dispense pool chemicals as needed.
• Water and maintain seasonal flowers and gardens.
• Perform minor landscape and grounds duties as needed.
• Remove trash on the weekends at outdoor facilities, Robinhood Park, library and mini golf.
• Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• High School Diploma or GED
• Customer Service Experience
• Janitorial Experience a plus
• Leadership skills a plus
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
REQUIRED LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATES
• Valid TN Driver’s License
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Walking and standing for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds at a time (more with assistance)
