Job Description
Position Goals
The Facility Assistant assists the ER Tech and Facilities Manager in the delivery of clinical and life safety services in the facility.  
 
Position Responsibilities
 
The Facilities Assistant at Patients ER & Hospital responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
 
Assists with day-to-day facility maintenance, including minor facility repairs (i.e. painting, light bulb maintenance, etc.)
Assists in maintaining storage rooms (on and off site). Move and transfer supplies as needed to organize.
Drive company vehicles to pick up/deliver supplies, labs, etc. to various locations.
Assists with receiving and process of incoming supplies of all departments and places in appropriate location in facility.
Performs minor maintenance to company vehicles. (i.e. fueling, oil/fluids, etc.)
Helps to ensure facility is clean and organized. Assists with cleanup of trash/debris from building exterior and lot.
Assists with set up of meetings and gatherings. (i.e. furniture, chairs, tables, etc.)
Adheres to and ensures compliance with Patients Er & Hospital policies, procedures and customer service standards.
Participates in maintaining a safe, clean and organized environment.
Reflects the company’s values and sensitivity to ethics and compliance principals in daily activities.

Environment of Care & Safety
Participate in EOC programs to ensure safety, life safety, and environmental compliance across all facilities.
Assist with logs of EOC rounds (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually)
Assist with emergency preparedness drills and response plans (power outage, disaster, utility loss, security incidents).
Participate in investigation of safety incidents involving employees or facility hazards.
Assist with inspections of buildings to identify repair needs and recommend solutions.
Support planning, coordination, and evaluation of facility-related policies and EOC initiatives.
Assist with oversight of contractors performing facility repairs or installations, if manager unavailable
Assist with inspections of facilities to identify repair needs and recommend corrective actions.
 
Other Duties
Maintain strong relationships with departments to understand facility needs proactively.
Uphold company values, ethics, conduct requirements, and customer service standards.
Other duties as assigned.
 
Position Requirements
The requirements for employment with Patients ER & Hospital are:
Experience
High School Graduate/Equivalent
Mechanical experience
 
 
Licenses & Certifications
Valid driver’s license required.
BLS certification
