Job Description
As a Solutions Software Field Application Engineer (FAE), you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless integration of our software solutions with customer hardware SoC/IoT systems. You will collaborate closely with our engineering team to provide valuable product feedback and serve as a liaison between customers and engineers. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting the sales team and managing customer-specific projects that integrate with our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate customer support software with our solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for software integration.
- Collaborate closely with engineers to provide product feedback and improvements.
- Act as a liaison between customers and the engineering team, ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution.
- Develop, support, and demonstrate proof of concepts using our hardware development kits.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
- Support customer visits and trade shows as requested.
Qualifications:
- BS or MS (BS) degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of Software programming experience.
- Proficiency in MATLAB programming.
- Experience in software integration and customer support.
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineering within an agile process.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent documentation skills.
