About the Role:
As a Field Service Mechanic at Terra Sonic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our advanced equipment. Your role will involve diagnosing, servicing, and repairing systems including blowers, water pumps, drivelines, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic components. You’ll provide on-site customer support, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure our equipment is operating at its best.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; experience in hydraulics, electrical, and mechanical assembly of large equipment is preferred
- CDL B with tank endorsement is a plus
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics
- Skilled in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and welding tools
- Mechanical aptitude with field service experience and a customer-oriented approach
- Efficient problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Experience with maintaining accurate documentation and using CRM systems for repair information entry
Travel Requirements:
This role requires travel to customer job sites for maintenance, repairs, and training. Applicants must be willing to travel as needed to support field operations and meet customer needs.
Work Environment:
- Occasional exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, outside weather conditions, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, and vibration
- Frequent exposure to loud noise levels in the work environment
- Typically found in a manufacturing environment with potential exposure to hazardous conditions and inclement weather
