Job Description:

· Troubleshoot, evaluate and repair construction type equipment, especially rock crushers, rock breakers and screens, both in the shop and in the field

· Disassemble and reassemble unit to repair or replace equipment/parts

· Perform Preventive Maintenance for customers

· May assist with site installation of new equipment

· Work with customers, suppliers, and other employees in a professional manner

· Perform and document root cause analysis

· Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

A. Education & Training

  • Requires      High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 to 5+ years relevant experience

B. Technical Requirements

  • Must be mechanically inclined 
  • Must be able to use welding tools, hand tools, air tools and large specialized      tools specific to the job/project
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Self-motivated, self-starter
  • Ability to travel
  • Possess valid Class E Driver's License (or willingness to obtain class E driver's license.)
  • Willingness to learn about new equipment techniques
  • Willingness to work some nights & weekends
  • Basic tools may be required

C. Physical Requirements

Performs climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing for long periods of time, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions of the wrists, hands and/or fingers. Exerts up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 50 pounds frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly moving objects. This position requires the incumbent to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment.

Working Conditions:

This position is subject to working inside as well as outside environmental conditions, such as extreme heat and cold. This position is subject to noise, vibration, hazards such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles and electrical current. This position is also subject to air and/or skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids.
