Mitsui Chemicals America (MCA) is seeking a Finance and Systems Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and system optimization. What You’ll Do

Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis

  • Support monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and medium-term planning activities across business divisions
  • Assist Sales team members with submitting sales, purchasing, rebate, and expense forecasts through JEDOX Financial Reporting software
  • Support annual budget and medium-term plan (MTP) submissions, including headcount, gross profit, and operating profit planning
  • Review and analyze actual financial results against forecast and budget targets
  • Prepare and distribute monthly cost center and profit center reports to department leaders
  • Assist in preparing and delivering financial reporting packages for management and the parent company
  • Support administrative cost budgeting and other ad hoc financial analyses

Systems Administration & Reporting

  • Serve as a key support resource for JEDOX financial planning and reporting activities
  • Train and guide new users on JEDOX access, data submissions, and reporting capabilities
  • Reconcile financial data between SAP S/4HANA and JEDOX systems
  • Develop and maintain ad hoc reports to support Accounting and other business functions
  • Test new system enhancements and support troubleshooting of reporting and data issues
  • Collaborate with external consultants to improve and expand system functionality
  • Support Concur implementation, site enhancements, and other digital transformation initiatives

Collaboration & Business Support

  • Partner with Accounting, Sales, and other departments to support financial planning and reporting needs
  • Provide financial insights and data analysis to support business decision-making
  • Maintain accurate financial data and ensure reporting integrity across systems
  • Support cross-functional projects that improve operational efficiency and reporting effectiveness
  • Contribute to continuous process improvement and automation initiatives

What Sets You Apart

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, accounting, financial reporting, or a related role
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA and financial reporting tools such as JEDOX preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes

General Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to prepare professional reports, presentations, and business correspondence
  • Comfortable training and supporting system users across the organization
  • Ability to travel occasionally and work beyond normal business hours when necessary
