Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze financial and operational data to provide actionable insights supporting plant performance and decision-making.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, run SAP reports, and support month-end and year-end close activities.
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts including intercompany transactions, tooling P&L tracking, and other balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Oversee petty cash and purchasing card activity to ensure accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, government reporting, and audit processes (including physical inventory and year-end audits).
  • Develop reports, presentations, and dashboards (SAP, BI, PowerBI) for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Partner cross-functionally and across sites to provide financial analysis, while supporting continuous improvement and training of junior analysts/interns.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • 2+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis; manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of P&L, cost accounting, and financial analysis principles.
  • Experience with SAP and financial reporting tools (e.g., Business Intelligence, PowerBI; Hyperion preferred for senior-level candidates).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, communicate financial insights, and influence decision-making.
  • Career progression mindset with readiness to grow into a Controller or Junior Controller role within 6–24 months.

Starting at $105,000. Compensation for this position will be determined by the candidate's qualifications, experience, education, and overall alignment with the role's responsibilities.
