Description

Overview:

Assist in the preparation and filing of external reporting with the SEC and other regulatory agencies, ensuring compliance with requirements, and providing strategic financial insights to support the organization’s goals. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review SEC filings, including the Form 10-K/Q, Form 8-K, and other required reports.
  • Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP standards.
  • Prepare the Bank’s Call Report and all associated regulatory reporting requirements. 
  • Prepare other daily, weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly regulatory reports. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and insights.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial reporting policies and procedures.
  • Monitor changes in regulations and assess their impact on financial reporting.
  • Participate in the preparation of quarterly earnings releases and investor presentations.
  • Support the external audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Record, analyze, and reconcile investment transactions for the Company. 
  • Assist with ad-hoc information requests, reporting needs and cross-functional projects as necessary.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, preferred.
  • Minimum of1-3 years of experience in SEC financial reporting or public accounting, preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of SEC regulations and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience with CECL and deferred tax assets a plus
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
