Job Description

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Chief Business Official or Superintendent, the Fiscal Specialist performs highly responsible and complex financial and administrative duties in the Business Office. Responsibilities include: oversight of local, state, and federal grant compliance, fiscal management of student programs, audit preparation, vendor and tax compliance. This position requires a high level of independent judgment, confidentiality, and expertise in governmental finance and accounting.

Requirements / Qualifications

Letter of introduction
Three (3) letters of recommendation
Associate's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field. Or, work experience equivalent. Bachelor's degree, preferred
Five years of increasingly responsible administrative and financial experience. Preferably in a school district setting.
Valid California driver's license
TB clearance
DOJ/FBI clearance
Must pass competency exam with a passing grade of C or better
