Front Load Driver

Location: Dublin, GA 31021

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Front Load Driver to join our team in Dublin, GA. The Front Load Driver will be responsible for operating front load garbage trucks to collect commercial and residential waste efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate front load garbage trucks to collect commercial and residential waste according to scheduled routes.
  • Ensure safe and efficient operation of the vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Assist with loading and unloading waste containers as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of routes, pickups, and any incidents or delays.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers.
  • Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety and customer service.

Qualifications

  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B or higher with appropriate endorsements with at least 3 year's experience. 
  • Proven experience operating front load garbage trucks or similar heavy vehicles preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and climbing.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work in various weather conditions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Work Environment

This position involves working outdoors in all weather conditions and requires physical stamina. The Front Load Driver will be part of a team dedicated to maintaining a clean and safe community.
