Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Front Load Driver to join our team in Tifton, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating front load garbage trucks to collect commercial and residential waste, ensuring timely and efficient service while adhering to all safety and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate front load garbage trucks to collect waste from commercial and residential locations.
• Ensure proper loading and unloading of waste containers using truck’s hydraulic lift system.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to complete daily collections efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and proper functioning.
• Maintain accurate records of collections and report any issues or incidents promptly.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and local, state, and federal regulations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class B or higher with appropriate endorsements.
• 2 Years CDL experience preferred
• Proven experience operating front load garbage trucks or similar heavy equipment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in waste collection.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical tasks as required.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Work Environment

This position involves outdoor work in all weather conditions and requires physical activity such as lifting, climbing, and operating heavy machinery. Safety is a top priority.
