Position Summary

Front of House Team Members serve guests directly by taking orders, preparing beverages, serving meals, maintaining the dining room, supporting mobile and delivery orders, and creating remarkable guest experiences. This role requires friendliness, clear communication, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm and positive during busy periods.


Responsibilities

Front of House Team Members may be responsible for:

  • Welcoming guests with warmth, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
  • Taking guest orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Serving meals with speed, accuracy, and care.
  • Preparing beverages, desserts, sauces, and other guest items.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and inviting dining room.
  • Assisting guests with questions, concerns, and special requests.
  • Supporting mobile orders, delivery orders, and carry-out orders.
  • Restocking supplies and keeping work areas clean.
  • Communicating clearly with teammates and leaders.
  • Supporting the team during peak business hours.
  • Following food safety, cleanliness, and restaurant procedures.
  • Representing Chick-fil-A Bartow Ave with excellence.

Requirements

Applicants should be able to:

  • Work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Stand for extended periods of time.
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull items as needed - generally up to 51 lbs.
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully.
  • Follow instructions and restaurant procedures.
  • Work well with others.
  • Maintain a positive attitude with guests and teammates.
  • Meet attendance, punctuality, and uniform expectations.
  • Be available for scheduled shifts, including peak business periods as needed.

Previous restaurant or customer service experience is helpful, but not required. We hire for character and train for skill.


30-Day Introductory Training and Evaluation Period

All new hires begin with a 30-day introductory training and evaluation period. During this time, we evaluate attendance, punctuality, attitude, coachability, teamwork, guest service, speed, accuracy, cleanliness, and ability to meet restaurant standards.


Continued employment is based on successful completion of this introductory period, business needs, and compliance with all applicable laws.
