Job Description:

Location: NYC (Hybrid – at least 4 days onsite/week)

We are seeking a Front Office Equity IT Support Analyst to join our Global Markets Business Support and Monitoring IT team. The ideal candidate will have experience in functional and technical support on Equity and Option trading applications and a strong knowledge of Front Office workflows.

Role and responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1 and 2 functional and technical support on Equity and Option trading applications (Fidessa, Dash) and booking gateways (Loanet, Sophis)
  • Work directly with Front Office traders and support functions to address daily incidents and user requests with fast, effective resolutions
  • Test new features, bug fixes, and system updates to make sure they meet business needs and perform as expected
  • Act as the link between Front Office users and IT Development teams (local and Head Office) to communicate needs, prioritize fixes, and track delivery
  • Monitor application performance proactively to catch and resolve issues before they impact trading operations
  • Create user guides and deliver training to improve adoption and proficiency across trading applications
Qualifications:
  • Experience in IT Support or Business Analyst roles for Front Office in financial services
  • Knowledge of Equity products including Equity Derivatives, Listed Options, and Securities Lending, plus their trade workflows
  • Hands-on experience with trade execution platforms (Fidessa, Dash, EMSX or similar) and booking systems (Loanet, Sophis, Calypso or similar)
  • SQL and FIX protocol knowledge required
  • Strong communication and prioritization skills in a fast-paced trading environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Finance
