Hotel Front Office Supervisor Hotel Indigo Nashville at The Countrypolitan

Are you passionate about hospitality and creating unforgettable guest experiences? 


Hotel Indigo Nashville at The Countrypolitan is looking for a Front Office Supervisor (2nd Shift) to lead our front office team with energy, professionalism, and attention to detail.


As a Front Office Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring exceptional guest service, supervising nightly operations, and serving as the Manager on Duty when scheduled. You’ll oversee guest touchpoints, VIP arrivals, and work closely with our team to curate unique, authentic Nashville experiences for our guests.


Full-time

Shift: 2nd shift

Pay: $23-$26 hr


What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and supervise the front desk team, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Serve as the Manager on Duty during assigned shifts, overseeing guest services and overall hotel operations.
  • Take a proactive role in VIP guest experiences, making every stay at The Countrypolitan feel personal and memorable.
  • Ensure seamless check-in and check-out processes, handling guest concerns with professionalism and care.
  • Train and support front desk associates on Opera PMS, hotel policies, and local recommendations.
  • Oversee the accuracy of cash handling, credit card transactions, and financial procedures.
  • Work closely with other departments to maintain exceptional service and guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain strong communication through logs, shift meetings, and one-on-one coaching.
  • Assist with reservations, special requests, and in-house guest marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all IHG brand standards and hotel policies.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Prior Opera PMS experience is required—this is a must for the role.
  • Previous hotel front desk experience, preferably in a leadership role.
  • A passion for guest service, with the ability to lead by example.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Two years of previous hotel front desk experience required
  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances preferred
  • Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Opera systems required
  • Frequently standing up, bending, climbing, kneeling, and moving about the facility
  • Carrying, lifting or pulling items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Frequently handling objects and equipment
  • Will be required to work mornings, evening, weekends, and holidays
