Job Description
Delivery Driver & Assembler
Reports to: Store Manager, Assistant Manager or Supervisor on duty.                
Classification: Non-Exempt/Hourly, Full-Time
 
JOB SUMMARY:
To provide the best customer service and support and adhere to our Gold Standard in every aspect of the business.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. Provide customers with outstanding service through friendly, quick, and efficient assistance.
  2. Ensure a safe and clean work environment while following loss prevention and safety procedures.
  3. Attend store and job-related meetings as well as complete the required training.
  4. Communicate and interact with Customers, Management, and other store employees in a kind and respectful manner.
  5. Follow all applicable Company, local, state, and federal guidelines.
  6. Ensure that your work area has sufficient supplies to complete assigned duties.
  7. Ability to assemble merchandise such as grills, lawnmowers, compressors, etc.
  8. To conduct merchandise deliveries to customers or other F&H Supply stores.
  9. Pass random Company drug testing.
  10. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  11. Capable of lifting up to and including 50 lbs.
  12. High level of merchandise stocking and Telxon gun experience.
  13. Ability to obtain basic knowledge of Repair Storm.
  14. Follow company guidelines for department merchandising and setting store ads.
  15. Maintain a positive attitude with a passion for collaborating with Team Members who want to grow.
  16. Consistent attendance for regularly scheduled work shifts is required.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Complete special projects directed by management as well as additional responsibilities that may be assigned throughout the store at any given time.
  • Other duties and responsibilities that may be required to meet the needs of the business.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
  1. Valid driver’s license and clear motor vehicle report.
  2. Minimum age of 18 years old and must have a valid driver’s license with a clear driving record.
  3. Six months of retail experience.
