The overarching goal of Foundation Café (FC) is twofold: first, to operate as a financially viable business line that serves as a community engagement platform connecting Men’s Health Foundation (MHF) more directly to the community it serves. In addition to operating as a standalone business, FC will support MHF broadly through events and community outreach designed to build awareness of MHF’s services and ultimately link individuals to care. MHF specializes in men’s health, and many of its services focus on sexual health, especially HIV and STI treatment and prevention. Job Description |
Overview The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the day-to-day operations and long-term success of the Foundation Café. The GM will oversee all aspects of café operations, including staffing, guest experience, vendor and supply chain management, financial performance, compliance, operational systems, programming support, and quality control. This role requires a hands-on hospitality leader who can build operations from the ground up, lead teams effectively, manage complexity, and deliver an exceptional guest experience while aligning with the broader strategic goals of the organization.
