About the opportunity

In this role, you drive lifecycle management for QIAGEN’s PCR and Nucleic Acid Amplification franchise, shaping the success of multiple on‑market products across their full lifecycle. Operating at the intersection of market needs, technology evolution, operational execution, and customer experience, you define and execute multi‑generation portfolio strategies that ensure business continuity and sustainable growth. Close collaboration with customers, key opinion leaders, and cross‑functional global teams enables you to translate insights into impactful application data, clear positioning, and effective omnichannel marketing execution.

Your tasks include

  • Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle management of selected PCR products, ensuring strong on‑market performance, customer support, and growth.
  • Define and lead end‑of‑life and portfolio transition strategies based on data‑driven, cross‑functional analysis.
  • Monitor and communicate portfolio KPIs, including growth, risk, backorders, operational constraints, and support burden, to senior stakeholders.
  • Act as a customer advocate by engaging key customers and segments to validate product‑market fit and gather voice‑of‑customer insights.
  • Partner with marketing to refine product positioning, messaging, and application‑specific collateral across channels.
  • Collaborate closely with regional commercial teams to ensure commercial readiness and visibility into business performance.
  • Provide ongoing product and portfolio support to sales and customer support organizations globally.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree with 4–5 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 2+ years, PhD, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong background in molecular biology with hands‑on expertise in endpoint PCR, real‑time PCR, and direct PCR techniques.
  • Experience in product management; candidates from adjacent commercial roles (sales, field applications, marketing) are encouraged to apply.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical, business, and customer narratives into clear, compelling communication.
  • Experience managing molecular consumables portfolios within a matrixed global organization is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills with a pragmatic, business‑driven mindset.
  • Willingness to travel globally up to approximately 25%.
The estimated base salary range for this position is $100,000 – $135,000. Compensation will be based on the candidate’s experience, skills, geographic location, and other job‑related factors.
