Bridgerland Technical College (BTECH) is seeking a creative, energetic, and talented Graphic Design & Communication Coordinator to help tell the BTECH story through compelling visual design, strategic communication, and engaging marketing campaigns.

 

In this role, you'll work closely with the Director of Marketing and Public Relations to strengthen the BTECH brand, promote college programs and events, and showcase student success. Position Summary

The Graphic Design & Communication Coordinator is responsible for developing and maintaining consistent visual communications that strengthen the BTECH brand and increase awareness of college programs, events, and opportunities.

 

This position designs and produces marketing materials, manages digital and social media content, supports internal communication efforts, coordinates promotional activities, and assists with event marketing and outreach initiatives.

 


Key Responsibilities

 

Graphic Design & Branding

  • Design and produce marketing materials including flyers, posters, brochures, banners, apparel, digital graphics, and website content
  • Ensure all materials align with BTECH branding standards and visual identity
  • Develop creative concepts that effectively communicate key messages and engage target audiences

 

Marketing & Communications

  • Create and manage content for social media, email campaigns, websites, and digital communications
  • Gather and develop student success stories, testimonials, and promotional content
  • Support communication strategies that promote programs, events, partnerships, and institutional achievements
  • Measure and evaluate marketing campaign effectiveness

 

Event Promotion & Community Outreach

  • Coordinate promotional efforts for open houses, community events, workshops, presentations, and special events
  • Represent BTECH at community and recruitment events
  • Collaborate with Student Success Advisors and other departments to develop innovative student recruitment and engagement strategies

 

Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with faculty and staff to identify marketing and communication needs
  • Build strong relationships with students, employers, community organizations, and stakeholders
  • Support the Marketing and Public Relations team on strategic initiatives and special projects

 


Qualifications

 

Required

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including:
    • Photoshop
    • Illustrator
    • InDesign
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Experience managing website content and social media platforms
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
  • Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail

 

Preferred

  • Photography and videography experience
  • Knowledge of marketing principles, tools, and analytics
  • Experience developing and executing marketing campaigns
  • Experience in higher education, communications, public relations, or related fields
