Pay Rate: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour
Purpose of the Position
The Grill Cook is responsible for preparing high-quality menu items in accordance with established recipes, plating, quality, and cook time standards. This role requires strong experience in high-volume steakhouse or upscale dining environments, with a focus on grilling premium proteins, maintaining consistency, and executing dishes with precision in a fast-paced, high-end restaurant concept.
This is a non-exempt position that reports directly to the Executive Chef and indirectly to other members of management.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies, and repetitive hand and wrist motion. The role requires working with hot, cold, and potentially hazardous kitchen equipment in a fast-paced, high-volume environment that may be loud, hot, and physically demanding.

Purpose of the Position – Energy Champion – Front of the House
The Energy Champion supports the Amalfi Llama Management Team in executing opening, closing, and overall shift responsibilities. This role promotes the company’s culture and values through professional leadership and by creating a vibrant guest experience.
The Energy Champion interacts with guests to provide personable, helpful, and efficient service while contributing to the overall success of the restaurant.
Serving and/or bartending shifts will be required in addition to management responsibilities.

Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Valid Food Handler Safety Training Card or ability to obtain one as required.
- Previous grill cook experience required.
- Strongly preferred: experience in a high-volume steakhouse, upscale dining, or high-end restaurant concept.
- Ability to cook steaks and proteins to accurate temperatures in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong sense of urgency, organization, communication, and teamwork.
- Ability to follow recipes, standards, and verbal direction accurately.
- Minimum 3 years experience as a grill cook
