JOB DUTIES:
- Maintains a regular filing system
- Screens phone calls; answers inquiries of a routing nature for parents or other callers
- Places and receives telephone calls, and records messages
- Maintains a schedule of appointments and makes arrangements for conferences and interviews
- Welcomes visitors and arranges for their comfort and screens unexpected callers in accordance with a predetermined policy
- Obtains, gathers, and organizes pertinent data as needed and puts it into usable form and maintains this data as required
- Types and files correspondence, notices as well as reports, memoranda, and other documents
- Answers general public inquiries
- Processes all documentation for student withdrawals, school transfers, and other related documentation
- Performs other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate
- Excellent general office skills
- Type a minimum of 40 words per minute
- Documented, successful (3) years of secretarial experience
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of computers and word processing
- Bilingual encouraged to apply
