Description

NIKA is hiring for a Healthcare Architectural/Construction Management Support to support our client in Falls Church, VA. The role is contingent upon contract award.

Job Description:

  • Review design and specifications for building and facility operational/functional systems.
  • Review contractor submittals and schedules.
  • Review RFIs and contract modifications.
  • Participate in NAVFAC QA/QC oversight activities.
  • Assist in reviewing Value Engineering (VE) proposals.
  • Participate in commissioning plan implementation activities.
  • Participate in Red Zone meetings and building acceptance process including punch-out inspections.
  • Coordinate O&M training, manuals, warranties, and As-Built documentation.
  • Perform technical reviews of project elements, maintainability assessments, and Design Intent evaluations.
  • Assist with project Planning and Execution, transition activities, and post-occupancy evaluations.

Requirements

Required:

  • MUST be US citizen and have ability to obtain security clearance
  • Architect or Construction Manager with 5+ years of experience in healthcare projects
  • 1+ years working with NAVFAC and/or USACE on medical projects.
  • Experience reviewing healthcare design and construction documentation.
  • Experience supporting healthcare construction oversight and commissioning activities.
  • Strong technical review and stakeholder coordination skills.
