Job Summary - Why you’ll love this position

Higginsville Habilitation Center is recruiting for Registered Nurses, to be a part of a highly effective team, that makes a difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities.  HHC is a state operated program within the Department of Mental Health and supports individuals receiving 24/7 services.

Must have knowledge of current professional nursing theory, practices and standards.  Ability to administer detailed therapeutic prescriptions under general professional supervision.  Ability to supervise, evaluate and instruct professional nursing staff.

 

 

Responsibilities - What you’ll do

Responsibilities:

Will provide oversight and direct medical support to the individuals with developmental disabilities who live at HHC. Responsible for overseeing the medical needs of individuals in collaboration with the PCP and the individual’s support team.  RNs communicate with internal and external team members and participate in the individual’s planning process. Will supervise LPNs.

Qualifications:
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri.

Lack of post‐secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.

 

Shift:

6:00 am - 6:30 pm, rotating weekends and holidays
