Job Description
What You'll Do:

This position is 100% on-site. Remote or hybrid work is not available.

Spokane Tribe Resort & Casino is seeking a High-Volume Recruiter with hands-on, full-cycle recruiting experience to support high-volume hiring for a 24/7 casino and resort operation.

This role is execution-focused and process-driven, requiring demonstrated experience working within an Applicant Tracking System, independently managing a high volume of open requisitions, and moving applicants through a structured, complex, and regulated hiring process from start to finish by:

  • Executing full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, applicant review, structured pre-screen interviews, interview coordination, offer preparation and processing, onboarding, and timely non-selection communication
  • Independently managing numerous active requisitions in a fast-paced, high-volume operational environment
  • Maintaining accurate applicant records, dispositions, and documentation within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Coordinating pre-employment requirements, including transfer eligibility, drug testing, I-9 verification, and gaming license referrals
  • Partnering with hiring managers to maintain hiring momentum while ensuring process consistency and compliance
  • Serving as a primary point of contact for applicants, responding professionally via phone, email, and in person

Selection Process

As part of the applicant review process, candidates advancing to the in-person interview may be asked to complete a brief, job-related skills assessment. This helps ensure alignment with the role and allows the in-person interview to be as focused and meaningful as possible.

What You'll Bring:

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum three (3) years of hands-on, full-cycle recruiting experience, including high-volume requisition management using an applicant tracking system (ATS). Experience recruiting in a fast-paced or regulated environment (casino, hospitality, healthcare, staffing, retail, or distribution) is strongly preferred; casino or gaming experience is a plus. An equivalent combination of directly related recruiting experience and education may be considered.
  • Proficient in ATS and HCMS platforms, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), and general office equipment.
  • Flexible schedule availability required to support a 24/7 operation, including occasional evenings or weekends during peak hiring periods or job fairs.

Skills, Abilities & Competencies

  • Strong working knowledge of the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, pre-screen interviewing, applicant communications, and managing candidates through each stage of the hiring process.
  • Proficient with applicant tracking systems; skilled in data entry, workflow administration, applicant status tracking, and basic reporting.
  • Able to sustain professionalism, warmth, and sound judgment across a high volume of applicant interactions, including frequent non-selection communications and occasional difficult conversations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to interact professionally with applicants, hiring managers, and team members at all levels. Read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines in a high-volume environment.
  • Self-motivated; capable of identifying and resolving workflow issues independently while operating within established compliance, licensing, and hiring-process guardrails.
  • Adaptable and flexible; able to shift priorities and respond to the evolving needs of a 24/7 gaming and hospitality operation.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Maintains a positive, professional, and productive demeanor.
  • Able to move efficiently throughout the work area.

Regulatory & Compliance Responsibilities:
  • Obtain and maintain a valid gaming license
  • Ensure recruiting and hiring activities comply with all applicable employment and gaming regulations
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation throughout the hiring process
  • Coordinate and monitor completion of all pre-employment requirements in accordance with STRC standards
  • Handle applicant information with professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
