Primary responsibilities include support with the daily functions at the Hillsdale Center. Assist office staff and students with admissions, financial aid, and registration processesEssential Functions
Essential Functions
* Assist students regarding course registration, admissions, financial aid, career services and other related topics.
*Assist with office operations and procedures such as record keeping, answering of phones, information management, filing systems, and other Center support services.
*Explain College policies and procedures and/or identify where such information is available.
*Disseminate College print materials, such as College academic pathway guides and the College Catalog; explain the purpose and content of such materials.
*Assist in providing information about opportunities on campus such as employment, resources, etcetera.
*Assist with the coordination of student development activities, events, and projects designed to create an ongoing atmosphere of care, concern, and goal attainment for students.
Examples include, but not limited to Early Middle College orientation, welcome week, etc.
*Other duties as assigned by the Center Coordinator and Director of Jackson College HillsdaleMinimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Must be currently enrolled at Jackson College in at least 6 credit hours with a cumulative G.P.A of 2.0 and available to work at least 10 hours per week.
Must pass a criminal background check.
Ability to work well with others, typing and other general office skills are important as well as the ability to present a positive image of the College. Accuracy is extremely important.Supplemental Information
