Position Overview
Meadow Falls is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and results‑driven Executive Director to oversee the daily operations of our assisted living community. The Executive Director is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, financial performance, resident satisfaction, staff engagement, and a culture of excellence in resident‑centered care.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with proven experience in senior living operations, team development, and census growth.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Compliance
Provide overall leadership and direction for assisted living operations
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state (Ohio Administrative Code), and local regulations
Maintain readiness for surveys, audits, and inspections
Implement and enforce facility policies, procedures, and standards of care
Ensure resident rights, safety, dignity, and quality of life are consistently upheld
Leadership & Staff Management
Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate department leaders and staff
Foster a positive, accountable, and team‑oriented work environment
Conduct performance reviews and corrective actions when necessary
Promote staff development, retention, and engagement
Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure high‑quality care delivery
Financial & Census Management
Develop and manage the facility budget
Monitor financial performance and control operating expenses
Oversee census development in partnership with the Marketing & Admissions Director
Analyze occupancy, labor, and expense trends to meet financial goals
Sales, Marketing & Community Relations
Support marketing initiatives to achieve and maintain occupancy goals
Represent the community positively to residents, families, referral sources, and the public
Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, physicians, home health agencies, and community partners
Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally
Resident & Family Experience
Ensure a welcoming, person‑centered environment for residents and families
Oversee admissions and transitions, ensuring smooth move‑ins
Lead resident council and family communication efforts as appropriate
Respond effectively to grievances and concerns
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Nursing, or related field preferred
Minimum of 3–5 years of senior living or healthcare leadership experience
Experience in assisted living or residential care strongly preferred
Knowledge of state regulations, survey process, and compliance best practices
Proven leadership, operational, and financial management skills
Strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational abilities
Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends
Able to pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements
