About Us

Stout NYC is one of Midtown Manhattan's busiest sports bars, located just steps from Madison Square Garden and Penn Station. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional hospitality in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while creating memorable experiences for every guest.

We're looking for friendly, organized, and energetic hosts who are passionate about hospitality and thrive in a fast-paced setting. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, our hosts set the tone for every dining experience.

Responsibilities
  • Greet every guest with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude.
  • Manage reservations and waitlists while maintaining accurate wait times.
  • Seat guests efficiently while balancing server sections and restaurant flow.
  • Answer phones and assist with guest inquiries.
  • Communicate effectively with managers, servers, bartenders, and support staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming entrance and host stand.
  • Thank guests as they leave and ensure they had a great experience.
Qualifications
  • Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a high-volume environment.
  • A positive attitude with a genuine passion for hospitality.
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and major event days.
