Description
- Cleans lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, offices, and resident rooms, clean soiled utility rooms.
- Mops, scrubs, waxes, dust mop and polish floors as scheduled.
- Vaccum rugs, carpets, and cleans upholstered furniture, and draperies.
- Dusts furniture. Washes walls, ceilings, vents, and woodwork. Wash and clean windows, door panels, window sills, lights, mirrors, nightstands, over the bed tables, baseboards, registers. Empty and clean waste baskets.
- Transports soiled linen and trash waste to disposal area.
- Replenish appropriate supplies in restrooms.
- Report broken or damaged articles in writing to the housekeeping supervisor.
- Responsible for keeping the janitor closet and equipment clean.
- Responsible for picking up and delivering P.S. packages.
- Distribute attends to all units.
- Clean utility carts.
- Fill bird feeders.
- Report all safety hazards to your department supervisor.
- Maintain resident confidentiality; treat residents with kindness, dignity and respect; know and comply with all Resident's Rights rules; and promptly report all resident accidents and injuries to charge nurse.
- All other duties as assigned.
