The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of the clubhouse and other assigned facilities. This position helps provide members and guests with a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while upholding the club's standards of excellence.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, locker rooms, offices, dining areas, and common spaces.
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors and surfaces.
- Empty trash and recycling receptacles.
- Restock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Follow proper sanitation, chemical handling, and safety procedures.
- Assist with cleaning before and after club events as needed.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure supplies are organized.
- Provide friendly and courteous service to members, guests, and fellow employees.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
