What You’ll Do
- Assist with recruitment activities including posting positions, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates
- Coordinate pre-employment processes including background checks, reference checks, and onboarding paperwork
- Support new hire orientation and onboarding activities
- Maintain employee personnel files and ensure records are accurate and organized
- Process employee status changes including new hires, transfers, promotions, and separations
- Assist with employee offboarding and termination documentation
- Respond to employee questions and provide support or direct concerns appropriately
- Support benefits administration by distributing forms and assisting with employee inquiries
- Track employee certifications, training requirements, and compliance deadlines
- Coordinate training sessions, meetings, employee recognition efforts, and HR initiatives
- Assist with performance review administration and documentation
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and HR-related documents
- Maintain confidentiality of employee information and sensitive records
- Support leadership with administrative projects and other duties as assigned
Compensation
- HR Administrative Assistant Pay Range: $22–$26/hour
- Pay growth milestones: Increases awarded based on performance, experience growth, annual reviews, and expanded responsibilities

Schedule
- Part-time: under 30 hours/week (hours may vary based on business needs)
- Business hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
- Flexible scheduling available within business hours
- Preferred working hours are generally between 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM, as most meetings and team collaboration occur during this timeframe
- Some in-office attendance may be required for meetings, onboarding activities, training, and team collaboration
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 1–2 years of administrative, human resources, recruiting, or office support experience preferred
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or a clinical office setting preferred but not required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to pass a background check
