Job Summary:


Sun Holdings is seeking a motivated and service-oriented HR Generalist to support our growing organization. This role serves as a trusted business partner to operations and corporate leaders by providing guidance on employee relations, policy administration, compliance, recruiting support, performance management, and HR programs.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):


  • Partner with field and corporate leaders to provide day-to-day Human Resources support.
  • Advise managers on employee relations matters, coaching, corrective action, investigations, and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable employment laws.
  • Assist with onboarding, orientation, and new hire integration.
  • Support recruiting activities, including interviewing, candidate selection, and hiring processes.
  • Manage employee status changes, promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Assist with leave administration and coordinate with third-party administrators as needed.
  • Support benefits enrollment and respond to employee benefit inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS system.
  • Assist with performance management initiatives and annual review processes.
  • Coordinate unemployment claims, employment verifications, and other HR documentation.
  • Support training and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Assist with HR projects, process improvements, and company-wide initiatives.
  • Prepare HR reports and analyze workforce metrics.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and company information.


What You’ll Bring (Requirements):

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
  • Multi-unit, retail, restaurant, hospitality, or high-volume environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, and related regulations.
  • Experience handling employee relations investigations and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with HRIS systems (ADP experience preferred).
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is preferred but not required.
