ABOUT THE ROLE:

The HR Operations and Payroll Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring efficient HR operations and accurate payroll processing while maintaining compliance with regulations and company policies. 

 

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

  • Oversee HR processes including onboarding, employee records, performance management, and offboarding 
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies 
  • Identify process improvement and automation opportunities 
  • Supervise payroll processing ensuring accurate and timely payment 
  • Collaborate with Finance and HR plant teams to reconcile payroll discrepancies 
  • Stay up to date on payroll regulations and tax laws 
  • Address employee payroll inquiries 
  • Ensure payroll data accuracy and confidentiality 
  • Generate reports and analyze HR/payroll metrics 
  • Collaborate with vendors and evaluate performance 
  • Serve as a key support partner to the local HR team, providing hands-on support across HR operations and payroll to ensure efficiency and compliance
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIPRO (SKILLS)

  • 5+ years’ experience in payroll 
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and tax laws 
  • Proficiency in HRIS/payroll systems (Ceridian Dayforce preferred) 
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills 
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills 
  • High discretion handling confidential data 
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making 

  

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • HR Operations experience
  • Experience with HR automation and process improvement
