Human Resources & Training Coordinator

Diamond Eagle Taxes & SIMPRO Tax Solutions

Location: Remote (Travel Required)

Job Type: Full-Time

Compensation

$1,440–$1,680 bi-weekly (approximately $37,440–$43,680 annually), based on experience and qualifications. Compensation is paid on a bi-weekly basis.

About the Position

Diamond Eagle Taxes and SIMPRO Tax Solutions are seeking an organized, motivated, and people-focused Human Resources & Training Coordinator to support the continued growth of our organization.

This position combines Human Resources, recruiting, onboarding, training, organizational development, and company culture into one dynamic role. Working directly with the CEO, you will help recruit exceptional talent, coordinate training programs, manage our Tax School recruiting initiative, strengthen communication, and support the development of a high-performing team.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, organized, enjoys working with people, embraces technology, and consistently looks for ways to improve both themselves and the organization.

Primary Responsibilities

Human Resources

  • Coordinate Human Resources functions for both companies.
  • Maintain personnel files and employment records.
  • Coordinate onboarding for all new team members.
  • Prepare hiring documentation and employment paperwork.
  • Assist with benefits administration and HR compliance.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all personnel information.
  • Support managers with team relations and HR matters.
  • Maintain personnel files and confidential employment records.
  • Prepare hiring paperwork, onboarding documents, and employment files.
  • Coordinate onboarding for all new team members.
  • Assist with payroll preparation by collecting, organizing, and verifying employee time records, attendance, PTO requests, and payroll-related information.
  • Coordinate with leadership to ensure payroll information is accurate and submitted on time

Recruiting & Hiring

  • Develop and coordinate recruiting efforts.
  • Create and maintain job postings.
  • Review resumes and applications.
  • Conduct initial interviews.
  • Coordinate interviews with department managers.
  • Perform background and reference checks.
  • Prepare employment offers.
  • Build and maintain a continuous recruiting pipeline.

Tax School & Workforce Development

Tax School serves as one of our primary recruiting initiatives for seasonal tax professionals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating Tax School enrollment.
  • Assisting with Facebook and digital recruiting campaigns.
  • Managing student communications.
  • Organizing class schedules and logistics.
  • Preparing training materials.
  • Supporting instructors and classroom operations.
  • Helping identify and hire qualified graduates for our seasonal tax team.

Training & Professional Development

  • Create PowerPoint presentations and training materials.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Create training manuals and workbooks.
  • Conduct onboarding and company orientation.
  • Lead customer service, communication, leadership, and professional development training.
  • Coordinate tax and software training with subject matter experts.
  • Assist with company meetings and presentations.

Team Development & Culture

  • Help build a positive, professional workplace culture.
  • Coordinate performance reviews.
  • Support coaching and development initiatives.
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Assist with conflict resolution and team communication.
  • Conduct exit interviews and gather feedback to improve the workplace.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

We're looking for someone who enjoys learning and improving systems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Researching AI tools and automation that improve recruiting, training, communication, and business operations.
  • Recommending new software and technologies that improve efficiency.
  • Staying current with HR best practices, leadership development, and emerging technologies.
  • Bringing new ideas to leadership that help improve our organization.

During scheduled working hours, your full professional attention is expected to be devoted to Diamond Eagle Taxes and SIMPRO Tax Solutions. Outside employment or personal business activities should not interfere with your responsibilities.

Although this position offers remote work flexibility, travel will be required for interviews, training sessions, company meetings, recruiting events, Tax School, and visits to office locations.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone with:

  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, Recruiting, Training, Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Experience creating PowerPoint presentations and training materials.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and AI tools.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
