Overview We are seeking a full-time Human Resources Coordinator at Garmin's U.S. headquarters in the Greater Kansas City area. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with human resources coordination activities and administrative functions in one or more of the following assigned specialization areas: recruiting, university relations, training, benefits, health/wellness, systems, and compensation. Essential Functions Assist with various administrative duties Assist with planning and execution of company events Apply Human Resources knowledge Comply with company and departmental policies and guidelines Learn and understand established processes and complete well defined tasks and projects Work collaboratively in a team environment to effectively utilize resources and assist team members Leverage constructive criticism to enhance performance of essential functions Provide excellent customer service to Garmin associates and customers Communicate status of work clearly and accurately, providing visibility Coordinate all aspects of interview scheduling and handle aspects of travel coordination for candidates Work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to provide candidate with information and communicate interview and schedule details for each candidate Assist with screening candidates, processing applications, scanning and attaching candidate information in Garmin’s candidate tracking system Maintain and update job postings internally and externally as requested by the recruiters Assist recruiters and recruitment managers with other miscellaneous recruitment tasks as requested Maintain appropriate quantities of recruitment related materials and supplies Help conduct trainings as needed Reconcile expense and expense tracking as needed Basic Qualifications Associate's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology or a related field AND a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience Must be proficient with using Outlook for calendaring work Must have proven experience dealing with confidential matters Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Demonstrates an understanding of EEO and OFCCP regulations Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Must be flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment Demonstrates a sense of urgency and commitment in performing essential functions with high quality results in a timely fashion Demonstrates commitment to providing excellent customer service to Garmin associates and customers Consistently maintains professional demeanor and appearance Must be team oriented, possess a positive attitude and work well with others Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks Must be detail oriented Desired Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology or a related field Prior experience supporting HR Experience with front-facing administrative work Using Excel for data tracking Garmin International is an equal opportunity employer.
