Job Description

Position Summary:


Party Reflections is looking for a dedicated HR professional to make a positive impact within our organization.  The Human Resources Specialist plays an integral role partnering with the Director of Human Resources providing employee support while driving organizational success through effective HR practices.


 


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:



  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and making hiring recommendations. Coordinate new hire onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new employees.

  • HR Administration: Maintain accurate HR records and employee files. Prepare HR reports and analytics as needed. Assist with other HR administrative tasks as assigned.

  • Employee Relations: Translate verbal and written communications to Spanish speaking employees and staff.

  • HR Policies and Compliance: Stay up-to-date on relevant employment laws and regulations. Maintain, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

  • Performance Management: Support the performance management process by assisting with administration of performance evaluations.

  • Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, including health and welfare benefits, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits. Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries.

Qualifications:



  • Must be bilingual, able read, write, and speak English and Spanish.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • 2 years proven experience in the Human Resources field or equivalent experience.

  • Sound knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Self-starter, driven to take initiative.

  • Independently innovative, comfortable working solo.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Proficiency in HRIS software, MS Office Suite, Adobe Pro, etc.


Physical Demands:



  • Employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time.

  • Must have sufficient clarity of speech and hearing.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus, and ability to read from a computer screen for extended periods of time with our without corrective lenses.

  • The employee is required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard for extended periods of time.

  • The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

  • Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
